Alex
Alexandra, usually referred to Alex, has short black hair, brown eyes and sports a yellow catsuit. In "Game Girls" Alex one time had a bluish silver catsuit. She is an odd mixture between a tomboy and a girly girl: she is the most athletic and fitness minded spy of the team. She loves to play sports especially soccer and is always trying out some new fad diet. Alexandra is also the most naive and absent-minded. She sometimes is bit slow to some of the figures of speeches and takes them too literally.
She is also the most childish seeing as her oldest and dearest friend is a toy turtle named Ollie and she has a teddy bear backpack. In the episode Futureshock it was revealed that she still has Ollie even though she is in her thirties and keeps it under her pillow. She sometimes makes bad grades in school but eventually pulls it out in the end. Another characteristic of Alex is that she is always about keeping her friends happy. She often serves as a link between Clover and Sam who sometimes have meaningless squabbles (like one happening for a petty reason between Sam and Clover in season 1 episode "Abductions"). In "Wild Style", it is revealed that she is allergic to cats when Clover is turned into a cat human hybrid. However in Evil Mascot , she was seen holding, cuddling and stroking a cat without any allergic reactions. It is revealed in the yuck factor that Alex is somewhat squeamish and is against dissection. She is an animal lover, she likes petting zoos which is seen in Mime World and she cuddled a cat in Evil Mascot
Despite being the most athletic, she tends sometimes to be clumsy, and has been prone to bad luck. Alex is also the second girliest. She is very concerned about fashion and boys, sometimes to the same extremes as Clover (an obsession that Sam sometimes has trouble understanding). Another one of Alex's hobbies is eating. Even though she may be the most healthy, she likes to eat the most. In "Evil Valentine's Day" we see that she has a dream about candy. In the beginning part of the b-story in "The New Jerry" and the ending of "Animal World" we see her eating nonstop. During the 1st to 2nd season of Totally Spies, Alex was referred to as a bad driver. However, during the 3rd to 5th season, she is usually the one who is behind the wheel.
Alex, being extensively prone to bad luck, is also a usual victim of the villains, not unlike her friends. There is also a running gag on her unusual sense of taste as well as someone mentioning her terrible driving skills.
Alex's running gag is in episodes:
- Episode 10: Model Citizens - Alex, along with Sam and Clover, had modelized body parts.
- Episode 21: Soul Collector - Alex's youth is drained into Principal Smith.
- Episode 34: Boy Bands Will be Boy Bands - Alex' face is switched into the Boy Candy's female manager's ugly face.
- Episode 40: Stark Raving Mad - Sam, along with Clover and Alex, falls victim of the hypnotic music to raid, crush everything in her path and attack Jerry for a short time. Jerry reverted her to normal after a few minutes.

- Episode 54: Freaky Circus Much? - Alex is turned into a fishgirl.

- Episode 69: Creepy Crawly Much? - Alex is partially turned into an insect queen.
- Episode 70: Truth or Scare - Alex is given the truth serum and must tell the truth.
- Episode 75: Head Shrinker Much? - Alex is turned into a cave woman.
- Episode 81: I Hate the Eighties - Alex, along with Sam and Clover, clothes are turned into dorky 80s outfits and act childish..

- Episode 95: Beauty is Skin Deep - Alex, along with Sam, is given a facial expression which isn't changing.
- Episode 96/97: Like, So Totally Not Spies - Alex, along with Sam and Clover, is dressed a bracelet, which causes to lose memory about WOOHP, and is soon unable to remember something about WOOHP.
- Episode 99: Spy Soccer - Alex is turned into an ruthless soccer player.
- Episode 104: Totally Busted (Part 3) - Alex, along with Sam and Clover, falls victim of the SUDS and becomes a spy-sassin.
- Episode 123: The Show Must Go On... Or Else - Alex is turned into an old lady.
Alex is the only character to have her dad featured in the show. She also is the only character of the main group that we have not seen her house that she lived in with her parents.
When it comes to what she likes in a boy, Alex is not very picky, unlike Clover who likes muscled, nice, smart, and (according to the episode where she found a Love Computer), a name that starts with the letter "T". In 'Creepy Crawly Much?', where Clover and Sam have wonderful boyfriends, she picked a Goth who loved poetry.
Alex has the broadest variety of clothing out of the group. Usually she dresses trendy like Clover, or preppy and elegant like Sam, but other times she will wear a sportier type outfit. She usually will have on heels or flats but mostly she likes to wear tennis shoes. She is also shown to love to wear bunny pajamas.
Alex's alter ego is Alice, from the first spy team before her.
In season 1-2, Alex was voiced by Katie Leigh. Thereafter, she was voiced by Katie Griffin, famous for being the English dub voice for Sailor Mars.
Jerry
Gerald James Lewis, usually referred to Jerry, is the founder and administrator of WOOHP, the World Organization Of Human Protection. A middle-aged, very serious British gentleman, he is responsible for briefing the girls on their missions, as well as for providing them with their gadgets at the start of each episode. He also has a tendency to send the girls on "test missions" without telling them that it's fake.
Although he has a mostly hands-off role, Jerry has participated in a couple of the girls' missions. Despite his thin and nonathletic appearance, he has in fact demonstrated highly impressive combat and piloting skills superior to those displayed by the girls themselves, including running up (and down) the side of a building. Jerry appears in fewer episodes on Season 4.
In episode "The Yuck Factor", it is revealed that he is allergic to blueberries.
His mother was introduced in "Mommies Dearest". A rather overprotective, stereotypical British mother, she is unaware of Jerry's job at WOOHP as he has told her, as a cover-up, that he is in the guest house business. As such, she finds his erratic behavior around her (caused by his WOOHP job), such as "talking into wallets" and going onto the roof (to talk to the girls) as a reason to keep an eye on him.
In the series finale, she reveals that she was also a spy in her old days.
Despite being the leader of the world's top spy organization, the security surrounding Jerry is surprisingly lax, and he has been subverted on multiple occasions.
Despite being a master spy himself (or perhaps due to the pride that comes with his skill), he can be oblivious and inattentive. This is especially true when the girls are right and he is wrong (like in the episodes "Starstruck" and "0067").
Jerry has been somewhat cursed in his personal life in that all the people he relates to keep turning out to be super villains. His best friend in college, his ex-wife (Myrna Beesbottom, whom he married in "Evil Valentine's Day") and even his own twin brother Terence (Terry) have all been revealed as villains attempting to kill Jerry or destroy WOOHP. In the 1980s, he was a member of a little known band, Double Digits. He started WOOHP in the 70's and took ballet as a kid, which came in handy in Season 4 Episode "Sis-KaBOOM-Bah!" when he used some of the moves he knew to defeat a mind controlled Mandy.
It is also revealed that he actually enjoys whooping the girls (a term meaning a way of suddenly transporting the girls to WHOOP that usually if not always breaks the laws of physics), something that has been a running gag throughout the series and a constant annoyance to the girls. Where in one episode the spies took great pleasure in whooping him themselves. Also because of all of the security cameras there is, as quoted by Clover, "not a single inch of their lives he is not trespassing on".
Jerry is voiced by Jess Harnell in Season 1-2, and by Adrian Truss in Season 3-5.
